Step One — Perfect Day

The first meeting. No spreadsheets allowed.

You’ve probably sat through the other version: a guy pulls up your statements, feeds them into software, and the software announces you can retire at 65 if you save $10,000 a year. Goodbye.

Notice what never happened in that meeting. Nobody asked what your life is for.

That’s not a small oversight. It’s the industry’s foundational error. The software and the training usher clients toward the wrong goals, and the wrong goal is more expensive than any market downturn.

It costs money, health, and years, in that order of least-important-first.

So in our first meeting, you’ll design your perfect day — what your life looks like when it’s actually working — across four quadrants:

  • A close detail of the handle of a packed weekender bag.

    01

    Experiential

What you do, see, taste, attempt.

  • A close detail of flower stems gathered in paper.

    02

    Philanthropic

What you give, and who feels it.

  • A close detail of a single cup on the worn porch table.

    03

    Core

Health, relationships, the people you love, the person you are.

  • A blank folded sheet on navy linen beside yellow jessamine in lamplight.

    04

    Financial

Yes, this too. Fourth. On purpose.

Fair Warning

The goals that surface are rarely the ones you walked in with. The burned-out business owner arrives certain her goal is “sell everything and retire at 50.”

Three conversations later, the real goal shows up: she loves the work, she’s just drowning in it. The answer isn’t selling the company. It’s hiring a COO.

That’s what this step is for: making sure the next thirty years of planning point at your life, not a template of one.

Step One — Continued

Then we put a governor on it.

Here’s where we’re different from a vision-board exercise and from most advisors.

Once your real goals are on the table, we bolt a number to every one of them. What you can spend, what you can’t, and — this is the part nobody expects — what you must. It cuts both ways:

  • “I want to travel the world and spend all my money.”

Beautiful. And if you do it that way, you have no freedom in five years. The governor tells you what “travel the world” costs when it’s built to last, so you can do it without unwinding everything else.

  • “My health matters, but I can’t afford a trainer.”

You can afford $1,000 a month. You can afford $12,000 a year. It will not un-retire you — we’ve checked. If health is in your core quadrant, that’s not an indulgence. It’s a line item. Spend it.

This is what most women have never had: someone with full command of the numbers, rubber-stamping the life. Not a cheerleader but a governor.

The Barbell

And underneath all of it, the barbell. Every plan we build holds two truths at once:

  • Truth One

    You are not promised tomorrow.

Cancer and car wrecks happen, which is exactly why we refuse to defer your entire life to a spreadsheet’s opinion of age 65.

  • Truth Two

And: you might live to 110.

If there’s no cancer and no car wreck and you get every year — you’re still fine. Fine at 80, fine at 95, fine at 110.

Live fully now. Provisioned forever. Most planning picks one. The whole point of ours is that you don’t have to.

Perfect Day

Ten thousand dollars. Three months. And you keep everything, whether you stay or not.

This is how every client relationship here begins. A three-month sprint — deep, structured, and finished on time — where we find the real goals, put a governor on them, and build the framework your money will answer to.

Call it dating before anything gets serious.

In three months, you walk out with:

  • 01

    Your real goals

Surfaced, named, and written down, across all four quadrants of your life.

  • 02

    Your governor

The number on every goal: what you can spend, what you can’t, and what you must.

  • 03

    Your 3-6-10

The allocation your life prescribes, ready to implement.

And all of it is yours.

If you decide not to work with us, take the framework to any advisor in the country and have them run it. No hostage-taking. No “the plan only works if you stay.” The clarity is what you bought. It leaves with you.

NextStep Two — The 3-6-10

Don’t book a call. Don’t sit through a pitch. Just send us one brokerage statement.

Within 48 hours, we’ll show you what you’re actually paying — every fee, named and totaled — and what those numbers are quietly costing you over the life of your money. Most women who see it have the same reaction: nobody ever showed me this before.

Because here’s the thing about fees: you’re paying them either way. The only question is where and what you’re getting for them. A firm that earns its fee shows you the whole picture, including the parts that don’t flatter the industry. Consider this the first proof.

No obligation. Just the truth about your money, in writing.
