From the client’s mouth…“You’re a ROCKSTAR–I’m so lucky to have you in my life.”
-Alphavest client and Perfect Day Advocate, JB, Mt. Pleasant, SC

(WOW–thanks, JB!) Its 4/11. Did you notice? What better day to announce the re-launch of 411 LIVE.

So here’s this week’s 411 post (sans the LIVE –because you’ve gotta be there for that part–no cheating!) and here are 4 Perfect Day nuggets to fuel you to create your own 4-1-1 and be well on your way to more Perfect Days this week and beyond. New to 411’ing? Want to know what it’s all about? Want “permission” to have more Perfect Days in your life with some fiscal responsibility? Grab a spot and lets chat all things Perfect Day with a financial wrapper.

Lets Do Dive In.

A quick 411 primer: Grab some im-balanced, “balance” by focusing on 4 areas that will ensure more perfect days in your life; Financial (duh), Experience (fun! growth, learning…), Core (health, wellness, relationships) and the almighty, Contribution–the way we leave this world a better place (with a by-product of happiness).

Let’s GO:

How I spent my Money and ….
“What Investors Need to Know. NOW” (Financial):

Taxes aren’t filed? Or, unsure if you took all your 2022 tax opportunities? . I feel a LOT of need in the world right now around tax season and the heaviness of financial decisions right now. So, I opened my calendar this week to those seeking tax opportunities before 4/18. “Deep Dive” 45 minute “pay what you want” sessions or 15 minutes for FREE.

Do you know what income bracket you are in and what it equals when it comes to taxes? Too high? Too low? Either way it’s another year end and you should know your bracket! But believe it or not, many people don’t.

There are seven federal tax brackets for the 2023 tax year. Your bracket depends on your taxable income and filing status: 10%, 12%, 22%, 24%, 32%, 35%. and 37%.

It is never too early to begin to plan for filing taxes. Here is Forbes’ take on brackets and then-some.

Before we go any further, here’s a side note worth mentioning: I’m an advocate for having your payroll deductions as close to the correct amount that you need to pay. In other words, don’t use payroll deductions as a type of savings because this is far from wise. Put any extra money (that you may see as a cushion) in your Savings account. Earn interest and grow your savings–don’t pay the IRS early and certainly don’t “loan” the IRS money by “enjoying” a refund you could have had all year long. PS-The IRS doesn’t pay you interest on the loan you gave them, and current money market interest rates are north of 4% right now. Be wise. Grab a “pay what you want” 45 minute spot and lets talk taxes with a Perfect Day umbrella over us.

Knowing your bracket or not, you NEED to know if you’ve taken all tax opportunities available to you.

Moving on….

What I’m excited about (Experience):

…and what I spent my money on–Vision Board! It’s been since 2003 since I’ve done this. Shauna Van Bogart is also a ROCKSTAR (was that an eye roll?) and shares the good news-bad news to the idea of Vision Boards…The cliff notes–Bad news: Vision Boards don’t work. The Good news: “The Vision Board Restyle offers a totally innovative upgrade that packs a bigger punch. A process and a tool that actually has the potential to get you what you want…” So, Join me!

What occupied my FREE time (Core/Wellness):

Morning Pages. I’m a terrible journal writer. Yet I know every Perfect Day has me writing. Julia Chapman’s The Artist’s Way has shown up in my life via some of the people I am most proud to know. And its a timeless piece that will EXPAND you. YES. LIVE joiners next week get a journal, on me–so, mark your calendars Monday 530 am LIVE (yup)!

The 4th of the 4-1-1’s and the holy grail of ALL Perfect Days…

What Inspired Me (Contribution):

Gifts of BRK.B stock for family in their Roth IRAs this year…

Fun fact: Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (ahem, Warren Buffet’s conglomerate company)–ONE SHARE is trading at over $480,000!

Class B…BRK.B = $314. Yes, Please!

So, yes, I gave the the gift of Roth IRA contributions to several this year–the gift of multi-purpose tax free savings. Not a bad way to contribute. Don’t forget: You’re biggest most valuable asset is your ability to contribute. YES.

Truth be told, beyond financial gifts, I do feel that my biggest contribution this week is that of me opening my calendar to 45 and 15 minute calendar sessions (links above) designed to impact, alleviate, build wealth and, well–usher in more perfect days for anyone who raises their hand. Hope you do!

Sending you 411 success and many Perfect Days,

PS-Mark your calendar and FOLLOW ME on Instagram so you can join us for 411 LIVE next Monday, 4/17 @ 8am. NOTE NEW TIME. Free Morning Pages journals for joiners next week!
